England defender Luke Shaw says he is targeting a place at Euro 2016 after being recalled to the squad for the first time in two years.
Luke Shaw earned his first England cap since 2018 and second in four years. Shaw’s precise cross in the 38th minute allowed Harry Kane to open the scoring in a 2-0 defeat of Albania in Tirana.Shaw signed for United for a then world record fee of £30 million in 2014. The left-back has earned three England caps since his move to Old Trafford. He is now in the frame for selection for this year’s European Championship.England beat San Marino and Albania to top World Cup qualifying Group I. England coach Southgate said Shaw helped give England control after a sluggish start. Southgate has a plethora of options for the Poland clash, although the first name on his team sheet will be Kane.
