Arsenal suffered a 2-0 defeat at the hands of newly promoted Brentford.

This was the home team’s first match in the top tier of English football since 1947, the first year of football following World War II, and their fans will have plenty to celebrate after defeating one of the country’s best teams in recent history.

We started the game well, but despite having long periods of possession, we were unable to put much pressure on goalkeeper David Raya.
