Lookman played a pivotal role in Atalanta’s impressive 5-1 victory over Genoa in Serie A over the weekend, providing a crucial assist. He also created two big chances and made six key passes all under sixty eight minutes of football.
Prandelli noted,
“One thing is certain: he had never scored so many goals before (Gian Piero) Gasperini completed him.”
He praised Lookman’s stamina and ability to execute devastating counterattacks over distances of 30-40 meters, emphasizing that the forward always aims for the goal.
“His dribbles are never an end in themselves, but to attack the area,” Prandelli added.
The former coach even compared Lookman to Italian great Antonio Di Natale, who was named Player of the Year in Italy in 2010, highlighting the Super Eagles star’s remarkable impact in Serie A.
