The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has selected Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, who is also the CAF Men’s Best Player of the Year for doping test after his brilliant performance in the Super Eagles triumph against the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon on Saturday.
Victor Osimhen showed exceptional brilliance yesterday for his side in their 2-0 win over Cameroon to send the Super Eagles through to the quarterfinals in the Afcon23.
He ran after every single ball played to the defence of the Cameroonian side and put them under pressure until he was substituted 5 minutes towards the end of the game.
His energetic display led to CAF picking him for a random drug test, along with his teammate, Kelechi Iheanacho, who has not even played any games so far in the competition.
