Apple set to purchase Manchester United from Glazers

The Glazers have listed the Red Devils for sale, and Apple is one of the latest company to express interest in acquiring them.

Apple has made headlines after expressing interest in purchasing Manchester United after the Glazers put the club up for sale.

Founded in 1976 by Steve Jobs, the California-based company has grown to become the world’s largest by revenue and is now looking to use their enormous wealth to propose a potential takeover bid at Old Trafford.

As of November 23, 2022, Apple’s net worth is an unfathomable $2.389 trillion (£1.973 trillion). Despite the fact that Manchester United is one of the most expensive clubs in the world, Apple’s reported £5.8 billion deal to take over at Old Trafford would barely dent their current finances, putting them in a strong position to complete the deal.
