La Liga giants Atletico Madrid have turned down a massive bid from the Premier League for striker Samu Omorodion.
The 19-year-old striker, Omorodion has scored eight goals in La Liga for Alaves on loan from Atletico.
Diario AS reported that a bid of 45 Million Euros has been received for the young striker. Samu Omorodion’s release clause is 90 Million Euros and Atletico will want a fee closer to that figure for him.
This comes as other reports have suggested Omorodion, who was born to Nigerian parents in Spain, will not get his first-team chance at Atletico next season and would most likely be shipped out on another loan.
His contract with the La Liga giants is till the summer of 2028.
Omorodion played 33 Segunda División RFEF games last season for Granada II and scored 18 goals last season.
