Barcelona alongside Real Madrid, Chelsea and a host of other top clubs have shown an interest in signing Brazilian wonderkid, Endrick Felipe from Palmeiras.
As reported by SPORT, there has already been a first meeting in the Catalan capital between Barcelona management and the agents of the Brazilian-born Palmeiras player, who traveled from Sao Paulo, to try to align positions.
The player’s agents travelled from São Paulo to Barcelona to enter talks with the Blaugrana. During the talks, Barcelona’s management told Endrick’s representatives that they identified the striker as one of their top targets in the Brazilian market.
The 16-year-old was on the bench for Palmeiras’ match against Santos last weekend and is yet to make his debut for the senior side.
While the player’s release clause is unknown, it is predicted to be in the region of €32m, which was the valuation of Gabriel Jesus, who played for Palmeiras before being purchased by Manchester City.
Due to their current financial situation, it is very unlikely that Barcelona would make a serious move for Endrick before next summer. Due to his young age, he would not arrive in Europe until the summer of 2024, when he would turn 18.
