Belgian club KAA Gent will be smiling to the bank for the second time this year should Gift Orban be offloaded by Lyon this summer.
Gent bought Gift Orban for Three Million Euros from the Norwegian second division and have since made a tidy profit of about 10 Million Euros when they sold him in January for 13 Million Euros.
Their agreement with Lyon is that they will also get additional cash – 20% – from his subsequent transfer from Lyon.
With the future of the Super Eagles Striker up for grabs this summer, Gent will be monitoring with keen interest to see if Orban is able to secure a move and the fee he moves for.
