Arsenal will look to maintain their perfect start to the Europa League season when they travel to Norway.
Bodo/Glimt have a chance to avenge their 3-0 loss to Arsenal away from home last week and maintain their chances of progressing to the knockout round of the UEFA Europa League (UEL) competition this year. Despite playing one game more than Arsenal they trail the Gunners and PSV by two points heading into this round.
They must win this match if they hope to repeat their Europa Conference League run from last season, which ended in the quarterfinals.
The Norwegian champions did recover from their UEL defeat from the previous week by winning 4-1 at home for the second time in a row this past weekend.
That, along with their impressive home record in Europe, where they have won each of their last 14 home contests with an impressive combined goal difference, should have given them a much-needed confidence boost (GF42, GA5).
Arsenal must feel unstoppable after defeating Premier League runners-up Liverpool on Sunday 3-2 to reclaim the top spot and secure their tenth victory from their first 11 competitive games. Don’t be surprised to see the North London club fly out of the gates again here since they did so in each of the previous five victories during that run.
