Bruno Onyemaechi Joins Super Eagles Squad Ahead of Historic Friendly Against Russia

Bruno Onyemaechi joins Super Eagles training after visa delay

The Super Eagles now have 20 players in training ahead of Friday’s international friendly against Russia in Moscow.
Bruno Onyemaechi, the Olympiacos defender, joined the camp late after a delay in receiving his visa. Due to the visa issue, Bruno Onyemaechi missed Tuesday’s full team training session. However, his arrival now completes the squad list for Nigeria’s first-ever match against Russia.

Other fresh arrivals include captain William Troost-Ekong, Victor Boniface, and Fisayo Dele-Bashiru.
Bright Osayi-Samuel and goalkeeper Amas Obasogie also checked in, having missed the recent Unity Cup triumph. Raphael Onyedika, another key midfielder, is also now in camp and ready for selection.

The existing squad features regular names like Moses Simon and Maduka Okoye, both expected to start the Russia game. Late additions Benjamin Fredrick, Sikiru Alimi, Sodiq Ismail, and Isaac Saviour were also spotted during Wednesday’s session.
