Chelsea have jumped into the scramble for Samu Omorodion, who has been dubbed as ‘The New Osimhen’.
Sky Sport Italia’s transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio has reported that Chelsea are entering the tug of war for Omorodion.
The 20-year-old striker has previously been linked with Napoli, Milan and West Ham.
Chelsea are said to have already presented a bid for Omorodion worth 30 million Euros plus 10 million Euros in bonuses.
Atletico Madrid have rejected this outrightly.
Atletico have been quoted to favor a deal in the region of 80 million Euros including bonues.
Omorodion was on loan to Deportivo Alaves last season during which he scored eight goals and one assist in 34 games in La Liga.
Omorodion has a contract with the top Spanish club until the summer of 2028.
