Chelsea and Tottenham – both on the back of wins in their opening fixtures of the Premier League campaign, clash at Stamford Bridge by 4:30 p.m. today. Antonio Conte’s side registered a resounding 4 – 1 win over Southampton last week while Chelsea could only grind out a 1 – 0 win over Everton.
Both teams will be looking to get the three points and join Manchester City and Arsenal as the only teams to have perfect starts to the new campaign.
Thomas Tuchel is expected to hand new-signing Marc Cucurella his first start at the expense of Benjamin Chilwell who is still recovering from injury.
Furthermore, Armando Broja is desperately pushing Kai Havertz for a spot among Tuchel’s preferred front three, but the match against their London neighbours might come too soon for the Albanian.
Kalidou Koulibaly is expected to start despite coming off with a niggle in their last match. Mateo Kovacic on the other hand, misses out through injury.
Tottenham new-signing Richarlison is expected to feature in this match after serving his one-match ban last time out, while Olivier Skipp and Clement Lenglet remain sidelined through injury.
