Marseille have reached full agreement over a €10m loan deal with an option to buy for Manchester United centre-back Eric Bailly, who is set for a medical at the Ligue 1 club today.
The defender hasn’t been used by Erik Ten Haag, and there is a feeling his time at Old Trafford will come to an end sooner rather than later.
Marseille have been interested in his services for a while, and it now looks that they are prepared to add him to the list of players they have signed this summer while they eye other prospects.
Marseille, in addition to the dozen players they have already signed in the summer, are looking to bring in another defender as well as a midfielder. For the latter position, talks have been opened with Atalanta for Ukraine international Ruslan Malinovskyi, in a move that could see Turkish winger Cengiz Ünder go the other way.
According to British Newspaper Reports, Eric Bailly will say his goodbyes head to the south of France today.
