Super Eagles right-back Bright Osayi-Samuel has attracted an official bid from Besiktas, as the Turkish giants look to strengthen their defense ahead of the new season.
The Fenerbahce defender’s contract expires at the end of this month, and talks over a new deal have stalled. Both Osayi-Samuel and Fenerbahce have failed to reach an agreement, making an exit almost certain.
According to Fotomac, Besiktas are dissatisfied with their current options at right-back and see Osayi-Samuel as a top solution. The 26-year-old has impressed consistently in the Turkish Super Lig, earning recognition with Nigeria’s national team.
However, Besiktas aren’t alone in the race.
Osayi-Samuel is also in talks with Premier League clubs Fulham and Crystal Palace. With his contract winding down, the former QPR star could make a free transfer back to England this summer.
Where he ends up remains to be seen, but his next move could shape the upcoming campaign for club and country.
