Former Golden Eaglets striker Umar Abubakar has completed a five-year deal with Portuguese club Famalicão, pledging to deliver goals in the Primeira Liga.
The 19-year-old Nigerian striker caught the eye after a prolific season with Gent B, scoring 21 goals in 27 appearances.
“I’m very happy to have signed for Futebol Clube de Famalicão. It’s a good team with talented young players and a strong coaching staff,” Abubakar told the club’s official media.
