Kelechi Iheanacho failed to impress on his debut for Spanish side Sevilla as they clashed with Liverpool at Anfield in a rather frustrating game.
Iheanacho started the game and played the first half, although he did not offer much in attack.
At his presentation recently, the forward admitted he has yet to hit peak form.
Fellow Super Eagles star Chidera Ejuke came on in the second half and assisted Gerard Peque’s consolation goal for Sevilla.
Sevilla fell 4-1 to Liverpool at Anfield with Diogo Jota’s beautiful strike, the pick of the bunch.
Iheanacho and Ejuke will be now hoping for better tidings on their official debuts in the La Liga next Sunday against Las Palmas.
