Barcelona won 4-2 over Real Sociedad on Sunday night, marking the start of their post-Lionel Messi era.
Their LaLiga season-opening match at Camp Nou came after Messi signed a free move with Paris Saint-Germain.
Gerard Pique scored the game’s first goal in the 19th minute, knocking home a free-kick from Memphis Depay.
After that, Martin Braithwaite scored two goals on either side of halftime.
Julen Lobete equalized for La Real in the 82nd minute, and Mikel Oyarzabal scored three minutes later to trim Barca’s lead to one.
Sergio Roberto, on the other hand, secured the points with a late goal.
