Following the Three Lions round-16 world cup victory over Senegal, in which Jude Bellingham was paired along with Declan Rice and Jordan Henderson in a midfield trident, Manchester City attacker Phil Foden has come out to spill his thoughts on what he thinks of the magnificent 19-yr-old youngster.
The Borussia Dortmund midfielder has been a stalwart of England’s midfield at the 2022 World Cup, and it was his strong effort that saw England defeat The Lions of Teranga in a very majestic manner.
Speaking to ITV Sport (via Sportmole) after the win, Foden was quoted saying: “I don’t want to big up Jude Bellingham too much because he’s still young, but he’s one of the most gifted players I’ve ever seen.
“I don’t see a weakness in his game. He’s got everything, and he’s going to be the best midfielder in the world, for sure.”
Bellingham has gone from strength to strength since leaving Birmingham City for Dortmund in the summer of 2020, and his future is already dominating the talk of the transfer market ahead of next summer.
The likes of Real Madrid, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United and Chelsea have all been linked with a move for the Black and Yellow youngster and his representatives will be hopeful he continues in this form so as to obtain a good offer in the summer market.
