Memphis Depay is edging closer to a move away from Barcelona with Juventus keen on landing the forward.
According to reports from Italian media outfit Tuttosport, the Netherlands International has reached an agreement with Juventus and the only thing left is for Barcelona to sanction to exit by terminating his contract.
The 28-year-old Dutch ace will sign a two-year contract with an option for an extra twelve months, as per the conditions of the agreement. Depay will get a salary of approximately €5 million year, plus an additional €1.5 million in bonuses.
Depay only recently joined Barcelona, moving there on a Bosman deal when his contract with Olympique Lyonnais expired. The Netherlands striker had a strong rookie season, but since January, he has fallen down the club’s hierarchy.
Ferran Torres and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang were both acquired by the Catalans in a double deal in January, and now Robert Lewandowski was also added. It suggested that the Dutchman was no longer needed.
