Massimiliano Allegri has confirmed his 21-man squad for tonight’s Champions League clash between Juventus F.C. and Benfica, calling up Angel Di Maria and leaving out Wojciech Szczesny.
The Bianconeri are looking for redemption against their Portuguese opponents this evening following their disappointing 2-1 loss to Paris Saint-Germain in their European opener last week. After a rocky start to the season, Juventus needs to win tomorrow in order to begin building up some confidence.
As announced by Juventus F.C., Allegri has called up 21 players for tonight’s match against Benfica, including the recently recovered Angel Di Maria, who was out with a muscle tear. Szczesny has not been included, still suffering from an ankle issue.
A number of first team regulars are still sidelined for the Bianconeri, like Paul Pogba, Federico Chiesa, Kaio Jorge, Alex Sandro, Manuel Locatelli and Adrien Rabiot.
Juventus’ 21-man squad for their match against Benfica:
Goalkeepers: Pinsoglio, Perin, Garofani.
Midfielders: McKennie, Cuadrado, Kostic, Miretti, Paredes, Fagioli.
Forwards: Vlahovic, Milik, Kean, Soule, Di Maria.
