In an impressive performance, Kelechi Iheanacho scored his first goals for Sevilla during a thrilling 3-0 victory against Las Rozas in the Copa del Rey first round.
The Nigerian international found the back of the net twice, netting in the 61st and 79th minutes, showing he still knows where the goal is with the brace. Since joining Sevilla as a free agent this summer, the Ex-Leicester City Striker has struggled to make his mark in La Liga.
As Sevilla advances in the tournament, hopefully these goals will kickstart a run where he starts to play and score consistently. Sevilla host Real Sociedad this weekend in the La Liga and Iheanacho will want to continue his goal scoring run.
Kelechi Iheanacho should be available for Nigeria’s next two qualifiers and would be hoping to contribute in the coming matches.
