Leicester City have now appointed Lars Knudsen as new set-piece coach alongside Martyn Glover as head of recruitment in a bid to restore some stability to their faltering team. Brendan Rodgers’ side are currently bottom of the Premier League table after six matches, having lost five of their opening six. Their early season form has raised concerns of problems both on and off the pitch.
Even though Rodgers’ future with the club is hanging on a balance, they have identified Lars Knudsen as the man to help them with their set-piece problem. Leicester City have been notoriously poor in defending corner kicks and free-kicks and will now hope the Dane will provide much-needed solutions.
In addition to Lars Knudsen, Leicester City had earlier acquired the services of Martyn Glover to head the recruitment team. The fans will be hoping that these additions help restore the club to its former glory.
