The Manchester United forward who just attained a centurion of goals in the Red Devils shirt is ready to accept bids from foreign clubs, according to the Daily Mail.
The 25-year-old scored the only goal in Manchester United’s 1-0 win over West Ham United on Sunday, heading home his 100th goal for the club in all competitions since his debut in the 2015/16 season.
Despite being one of the most outstanding performers under new manager Eric Ten Haag this season – scoring seven goals in 16 games – he only has eight months left on his Manchester United contract, which is set to expire next summer.
Paris Saint-Germain expressed interest in the England international in August, and the player’s representatives met with club officials over the summer, but nothing concrete came from the meetings. Although there are still rumors that the French club may call for new talks if he finishes the season in the fine form he started.
Marcus Rashford has previously admitted in an interview with The Guardian that he had special interests towards Real Madrid and Barcelona, and that if he were to be offered an opportunity to move abroad, he would consider going.
In his words, “I would never say no. I’m a big fan of Real Madrid and Barcelona, because they’ve always had great players and played attractive football.”
The report also states that there is an option to extend his deal by a further year, and United could either trigger that or offer him fresh terms given his impressive start to this campaign.
