The long-drawn transfer saga involving Victor Osimhen has continued to have its twists and turns with the latest being Napoli rejection of a loan deal for the striker to Chelsea.

According to Top Transfer Expert Gianluca Di Marzio, Napoli do not fancy the loan arrangement for Osimhen and they would be more comfortable with cash plus top target Romelu Lukaku.

This will be 70 Million Euros plus Lukaku, who is valued at 30 Million Euros.

Osimhen, 25, is not a priority signing for Chelsea after they maintained they will not meet his release clause of 130 Million Euros.

This is so because of the player’s injury history as well as the fact that Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca prefers a different type of striker.

In the meantime, Napoli new coach Antonio Conte is becoming increasingly impatient because he wishes to soon have Lukaku, which can only be possible with the exit of Osimhen.
