Serie A league leaders Napoli would want at least €100 million from the sale of Victor Osimhen.
The Partenopei forward has five goals and one assist in nine games this season, and his presence up front has piqued the interest of Premier League clubs, including Chelsea.
The 23-year-old Nigerian is a key player in Spalletti’s side and was the difference maker in Napoli’s win over the Giallorossi yesterday night, scoring a beautiful goal in the 80th minute to seal all three points.
Osimhen has done well this season despite a recent thigh injury, netting a total of four goals in seven Serie A appearances. Since his return from injury, he has averaged a goal every 58mins scoring three goals in three appearances.
Daniel Longo, a Calciomercato reporter, initially stated that Manchester United and Newcastle United were both interested in signing the star striker, but new reports suggest that Chelsea may be in the running.
As things stand, the Nigerian is not on the market despite both his colleagues, Giovanni Simeone and Giacomo Raspadori in great form.
