Victor Osimhen is on the verge of joining Al Hilal, with the Saudi Pro League club agreeing to pay his €75 million release clause to Napoli.
According to top transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Al Hilal have booked medical tests and travel arrangements as they await Osimhen’s final green light.
“€75M deal in place with Napoli. Now waiting for the player’s decision,” Romano posted on X (formerly Twitter) on June 7, 2025.
Earlier reports confirmed that Osimhen has agreed to personal terms, which include a €35 million annual salary and a contract running until 2029.
Napoli had rejected two previous lower bids from Al Hilal before insisting the full release clause must be paid. Al Hilal have now met that demand.
Romano further revealed that Osimhen has returned to Nigeria, and a final ‘yes’ from the striker could see the deal completed within hours.
His medical is expected to take place in Paris, after which he will officially become an Al Hilal player.
Osimhen is expected to lead the line for Al Hilal at the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup in the United States.
The Saudi club begins their campaign on June 18 in Miami, where they will face Champions League holders Real Madrid.
