Christian Pulisic sent death threats following scuffle with Lazio players

Christian Pulisic has been the subject of horrible abuse since AC Milan’s 1-0 win against Lazio on Friday evening.

AC Milan winger, Christian Pulisic has received several threats of death and abuse on social media from opposition fans following the fiery 1-0 victory at Lazio in Serie A last Friday.

Pulisic was at the centre of attention during Milan’s game against Lazio last Friday night.

The home side wanted to put the ball out in the 57th minute through Luka Pellegrini after a player had gone to the floor; however, the former Chelsea winger – who didn’t see the incident that had occurred – was reluctant to let the ball go out while he chased after it.

Luca Pellegrini was then shown a second yellow card for pulling the American, each for a foul on Pulisic.

He was again involved in another scuffle with Matteo Guendouzi, which resulted in the former Arsenal man being sent off for reacting badly while he got booked in the incident.

Pulisic posted photos on Instagram of himself and the Milan team celebrating after the game and was inundated with abusive comments.

There were also plenty of messages of support for the American, including from Milan teammate Theo Hernández, who wrote, “Puliiiii I am your security.”

Lazio defender Adam Marusic was sent off in stoppage time.

Pulisic joined Milan from Chelsea last summer, hoping to revive a flagging club career. He has scored seven goals and provided six assists in 25 league matches.
