Premier League statement: Arsenal v Manchester City

According to a statement from Manchester City’s official website, the Premier League has reached an agreement with UEFA to postpone the away game with Arsenal, originally due to be played on 19th October, to allow for Arsenal’s re-arranged UEFA Europa League match with PSV Eindhoven. 

The Europa League match between Arsenal and PSV Eindhoven, originally scheduled to be played on Thursday 15th September, will now be played on Thursday 20 October, by 1800hrs.

The statement further explains “that a new date for the Arsenal v Manchester city fixture will be announced in due course.”

Manchester City faces Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Molineux stadium this weekend, while Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal travels to Brentford to take on local rivals for their seventh match of the Premier League campaign.
