PSG remain adamant about Victor Osimhen, unwilling to meet Napoli’s €130 million valuation

Napoli shuts out Victor Osimhen
French Ligue 1 champions PSG are still interested in signing Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen this summer, but they are unwilling to meet Napoli’s €130 million valuation, Ballgist reports.

Osimhen has been the subject of numerous transfer talks this summer because of his brilliance for Napoli since he joined the club.

The 25-year-old striker has registered 76 goals and 18 assists in 133 appearances for the Partenopeans. He was also key in their Scudetto win two years ago.

Last summer, the former Lille man was linked with an exit, but Napoli held on to him and got him to pen a new deal.

However, it is highly likely that Osimhen will get a big move this summer. PSG, Chelsea, Arsenal, and Al Hilal are reportedly interested in the 25-year-old’s services, but nothing concrete has emerged yet, and everything has been silent for a while.

Fabrizio Romano tweeted on Monday: “Victor Osimhen remains on Paris Saint-Germain list in case they sell one striker this summer.”

“No formal proposal on the table but he’s one of the names on PSG list, while also Saudi Pro League clubs are keen.”

“If Osimhen leaves, Napoli plan to go for Romelu Lukaku.”

But in a new development according to Transfer News Live, PSG are still seriously interested in Osimhen, but they are unwilling to meet Napoli’s €130 million (₦230 billion) valuation.

Earlier on, Soccernet.ng reported that Napoli were going to reduce their valuation of the striker to €100 million. This could still happen because Osimhen wants to leave Naples this summer. Although, performance based add-ons could be included in the deal.
