Torsten Spittler dropped his hint during his post-match interview after his team held the Super Eagles to a goalless draw in a 2025 AFCON qualifier in Kigali.
Spittler, 62, has taken reigns of Nepal, Yemen, Sierra Leone, India, and Canada prior to his current stint with the Amavubi after beginning his coaching career as head coach of the Germany U-16 national team.
“After my contract ends in November, I’ll be heading into retirement,” the German said.
The Rwandan FA may have to convince the German to stay on as they top a 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying group that also has the Super Eagles.
