Samson Iyede Joins Serbian Club Novi Pazar After Vorskla Exit

Samson Iyede on the move again

Nigerian forward Samson Iyede has completed a move to Serbian club Novi Pazar after leaving relegated Ukrainian Premier League side Vorskla Poltava.

Novi Pazar confirmed the signing, describing Iyede as a “strong, fast, and penetrating striker” who will bolster their attack ahead of their domestic campaign and UEFA Conference League fixtures.

Transfer Details

  • Transfer fee: €60,000 paid to Vorskla

  • Future clause: Vorskla will receive a percentage of any future transfer

  • Contract status: Iyede’s deal with Vorskla, which ran until June 2026, was mutually terminated

Iyede’s Recent Form

Last season, Iyede played 29 matches for Vorskla, scoring 4 goals and providing 2 assists, but couldn’t prevent the club from finishing 13th in the Ukrainian Premier League, which led to relegation after a playoff loss.

Before that, he featured for Chornomorets, contributing 2 goals and 3 assists in 29 matches.

A Fresh Start in Serbia

The move to Novi Pazar offers Iyede a fresh challenge in a competitive Serbian league and a chance to play European football in the UEFA Conference League.

This transfer also marks another step in the 26-year-old’s journeyman career across Ukraine and Eastern Europe.
