Following the failure of Nigeria’s Super Eagles to qualify for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, Augustine Eguavoen, the former Technical Adviser, has resigned with immediate effect.
In the meantime, the NFF has revoked the two-and-a-half-year contract offered to the coaches and has terminated the team’s entire technical staff with immediate effect. After a thorough examination, a new crew will be named to spearhead the effort of reviving the Super Eagles and preparing them for future challenges.
“”We appreciate the coaches and team officials for their contribution to the country and wish them well in their future endeavours,”” stated Dr Mohammed Sanusi, NFF General Secretary.
