UEFA Nations League: Who makes the final four?

After leading their respective groups, Spain has joined Croatia, Italy, and the Netherlands to complete the roster for the UEFA Nations League finals in June.

Spain have completed the line-up for the 2023 UEFA Nations League final four, joining Croatia, Italy and the Netherlands.

Álvaro Morata struck late in the decisive game against Portugal in Braga as a 1-0 win took Luis Enrique’s side to the top of Group A2.

Italy had clinched their spot on Monday thanks to a 2-0 triumph at previous Group A3 leaders Hungary.

On Sunday, the Netherlands secured their ticket following a 1-0 win against neighbours Belgium, while Croatia were made to work hard in Austria, where Marko Livaja and Dejan Lovren hit second-half efforts to seal a crucial 3-1 success.

The semi-finals will be played on 14 and 15 June 2023, with the final and third-place Nations League play-off to follow on 18 June.

The hosts will be appointed in January 2023; the four sides in Group A4 – Belgium, Poland, Netherlands and Wales – all declared an interest.
