Galatasaray have reached a full agreement with Napoli to sign Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen on a permanent deal, ending weeks of intense negotiations.
Osimhen, 26, was a revelation during his 2024-25 loan spell in Turkey, scoring an incredible 37 goals in 41 appearances to fire Galatasaray to domestic glory. His form convinced the Turkish giants to push for a permanent move despite interest from Saudi Arabia and the Premier League.

Transfer Details & Contract
According to multiple top transfer journalists, Galatasaray will pay Napoli an initial €40 million, with another €35m due next year, taking the total package to €75m.
Napoli retain a 10% sell-on clause.
Galatasaray cannot sell Osimhen to an Italian club for two years.
He will sign a four-year deal in Istanbul, earning a €18m annual salary.
Osimhen is expected to arrive in Istanbul on Tuesday for his unveiling, which will feature a “historic welcome” from Galatasaray fans at Rams Park.
Why Osimhen Chose Galatasaray Over Saudi & Premier League
The Nigerian superstar reportedly rejected a €160m mega-offer from Saudi Arabia to remain in European football.
While Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United, and Newcastle United showed strong interest, none matched his wage expectations. Osimhen was also unwilling to lower his demands for a Premier League move, leading him to opt for stability at a club where he is already adored.
A New Era in Turkey
This transfer marks one of the biggest deals in Turkish football history, signaling Galatasaray’s ambition to dominate both domestically and in Europe. Osimhen’s arrival on a permanent basis cements him as the face of their project under coach Okan Buruk.
