Barcelona coach, Xavi is reportedly intending to make some changes to his starting XI for the team’s next game against Viktoria Plzen after confirming he would rotate the team a little in the forthcoming games.
The Catalans have made an unbeaten start to the season and will be hot favorites to begin the group stages with a win against the Czech opposition.
Mundo Deportivo reports that the match will see Xavi make at least four changes to this team and his idea is to bench Eric Garcia, Ronald Araujo, Gavi and Ousmane Dembele.
Jules Kounde, who has played right-back for the last two games, will likely return to his preferred center-back position as a result of the adjustments.
Kounde will partner either Andreas Christensen or Gerard Pique which means Hector Bellerin could get his Barca debut at right-back.
Also there might be a chance for bench players like Miralem Pjanic and Pablo Torre to see action on Wednesday night against Plzen.
Xavi has insisted both players are in his plans for the 2022-23 campaign but neither of both players have seen a single minute yet.
