Wesley Fofana gave Chelsea the lead in the 24th minute, but could not complete the full 90 as Chelsea cruised to a 3 – 0 win.
Graham Potter has now revealed that Wesley Fofana will undergo a scan on Monday morning to determine the extent of the damage to his knee.
The Blues moved up to second in Group E with the win, after failing to win any of their first two in the Champions League.
Graham Potter commented on Fofana’s injury after the match saying:
“That is the only disappointing thing about the night.
“We need to scan tomorrow and fingers crossed, I would not want to speculate on anything at the movement.
“But we are concerned but we just have to wait until tomorrow and get it scanned and hope for the best.”
The 21-year-old signed for Chelsea on a seven-year deal this summer. The London side had to pay £70 million for his services and will hope the injury is not a lengthy one.
