Lionel Messi is now set to make an unexpected shock move away from Europe to Major League Soccer side, Inter Miami after reports emerged that his agent has been in conversations with the representatives of the club.
According to David Ornstein of The Athletic, Inter Miami are increasingly confident of signing Paris Saint-Germain superstar Lionel Messi when his contract ends in the summer of 2023.
Messi, who already has 7 goals and 10 assists in 12 Ligue 1 games this season and 4 goals contribution in 4 Champions League games for Christophe Galtier’s side, has been tipped to return to Barcelona after his contract with PSG expires with the club president publicly admitting he his open to his return.
The Argentine forward, however, is unlikely to make a decision until after the World Cup, which appears to be his final appearance for his country.
