The Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper has something to say on why he thinks his teammate lost the second penalty in the quarter finals world cup match.
Speaking to the France national team’s media team, Hugo Lloris notably recounted the two penalty encounters he had with his club teammate Hugo Lloris in yesterday’s tightly-contested and tense quarter-final win over England.

For France’s all-time record appearance-maker, Lloris is now in 143 caps after yesterday’s game, now overtaking Lilian Thuram – admitted that the fact that he faces Kane day in, day out in training was a factor in the showdown between them on the biggest stage.
He says this was a factor on both the goal he let in as well as the second one going over.
“On the first one, we know each other so well that I told myself he would change, but he kept the usual.”
“On the second, I went the right way. He must have felt that so he lifts it a bit but hits it too hard. It was an important moment in the game. There were others as well, but it’s a good thing it went our way.”
