Top Premier League club Chelsea remains keen on signing Victor Osimhen, even after missing out on him during the summer transfer window. The London club made a last-minute bid for the Napoli striker, but the offer failed to impress both the player and his current club.
Chelsea’s proposal included a request for Osimhen to take a pay cut, along with a demand for Napoli to lower their asking price, which did not sit well with either party.
According to TBR Football, Chelsea is closely watching Osimhen’s situation again. While they are satisfied with Nicolas Jackson, their Senegalese striker, they are still in search of a high-quality forward to bolster their squad.
In addition to Osimhen, Chelsea is also keeping an eye on Alexander Isak from Newcastle United and Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig as potential targets.
Interest in Osimhen isn’t limited to England, as Italian clubs AC Milan and Juventus are also reportedly considering moves for the talented striker, adding further competition for Chelsea in the race for his signature.
