Manchester United defender Diogo Dalot has emphasized the team’s resolve to make amends for their heavy 3-0 defeat to Tottenham earlier this season as they prepare for tonight’s Carabao Cup showdown.

Both sides come into the match riding high on recent Premier League victories. Spurs demolished Southampton with an impressive 5-1 win, while United edged Manchester City 2-1 in the derby, regaining some much-needed momentum.

Speaking to the club’s official website, Dalot reflected on the sting of their earlier loss to Spurs and expressed the team’s desire to right those wrongs.

“It’s going to be a good game, especially because of the feeling we left after the last game against them at Old Trafford,” Dalot said. “We didn’t play our best, so we want to give a different response this time.”

The Portuguese full-back acknowledged United’s poor start in their previous encounter and stressed the importance of a stronger opening tonight.

“I think we started the game in the worst way possible. This time, from the start, we have to show that we are going there to win,” he added.

With a place at Wembley at stake, Dalot is relishing the challenge of facing a formidable Spurs side.

“These are the best games to play—against really good teams. Tottenham is a good team, and it’s a challenge we’re looking forward to,” he concluded.

As the Red Devils aim to keep their Carabao Cup hopes alive, fans can expect a fiery encounter tonight.

Ange to keep the hopes of a trophy this season alive or the resurgence of Amorim charges continues, all to play for at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
