Promoted Belgian Pro League club Zulte Waregem have reached an agreement to sign Nigerian striker Anosike Ementa from Danish outfit Viborg FF for €750,000.
According to Het Laatste Nieuws — and later confirmed by Imar Vandenabeele, the transfer deal also includes performance-related bonuses that could push the total fee to €1 million.
The move is expected to be made official in the coming days, marking Zulte Waregem’s seventh signing of the summer transfer window. The Belgian side has been tracking Ementa for over a month, seeing him as a key addition to their attacking options ahead of the new season.
The 23-year-old forward has built a strong reputation in Denmark with his physical presence, aerial ability, and goal-scoring instincts. Zulte Waregem hope he will bring both experience and a cutting edge to their frontline as they prepare for top-flight football.
Ementa’s arrival continues the club’s active recruitment strategy this summer, as they look to secure survival and compete in the Belgian Pro League.
