Turkish Super Lig side Trabzonspor have disclosed the full salary package for new signing Kazeem Olaigbe, following his transfer from French club Rennes.
The 22-year-old winger has penned a five-year contract worth €5 million in transfer fees, which will be paid in three instalments. In compliance with Turkish football regulations, Trabzonspor officially announced his yearly guaranteed earnings.
According to the club statement, Olaigbe will earn:
€1.3 million in the 2025-2026 season
€1.35 million in the 2026-2027 season
€1.4 million in the 2027-2028 season
€1.5 million in the 2028-2029 season
€1.6 million in the 2029-2030 season
Trabzonspor also included a 15% sell-on clause, meaning if Olaigbe is sold before his contract ends, Rennes will receive 15% of the remaining transfer balance.
Olaigbe, who came through the ranks at Southampton before moving to Rennes, is regarded as a promising attacking talent. Trabzonspor see him as a long-term investment to bolster their wide options and inject creativity into their attack.
The Nigerian-born winger will now look to make an immediate impact in the Turkish top flight as Trabzonspor aim for both domestic success and European qualification.
