With a win at Southampton tonight, Liverpool can put pressure on Manchester City heading into the final day of the Premier League season.
In what has been another exciting title competition throughout the season, the Reds are four points behind City.
Jurgen Klopp said his side’s ambitions of winning an unprecedented quadruple were finished. He said this after Liverpool won the FA Cup on penalties against Chelsea at Wembley on Saturday.
However, with Man City pushed to a 2-2 draw by West Ham the following day, the Reds may close the gap to one point before the weekend’s final round of fixtures.
Klopp, on the other hand, is concerned about how much his players have been drained by the 120 minutes of action against Chelsea.
Mo Salah and Virgil van Dijk have already been ruled out due to injuries.
With Liverpool expected to make changes, here’s how we think they’ll line up at St Mary’s against Southampton.
4 – 3 – 3:
Alisson; Gomez, Konate, Matip, Robertson; Keita, Henderson, Jones; Jota, Firmino, Diaz
