Arsenal are willing to ‘do anything’ to sign Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and are ready to offer Sambi Lokonga as part of the deal.
The 27-year-old joined Lazio from Genk in 2015, and has proven himself to be one of Serie A’s best players. He has made over 300 appearances for Lazio, scoring 62 goals and providing 58 assists.
The Gunners are ready to begin talks about a potential swap deal involving Sambi Lokonga. Juventus, Lazio and other top clubs around Europe have been linked with a move for the highly-rated Serbian.
Sambi Lokonga is estimated to be worth around £22 million [€25 million], and Arsenal could offer the Belgian international as well as a substantial cash bid of up to £52 million [€60 million] in exchange for Milinkovic-Savic’s signature.
According to CalcioMercatoWeb, the total deal would be worth £74m, and such an offer may be enough to entice Lazio into a deal. The Gunners were linked with a move for the Serbian last summer but failed to land him.
