Defending women’s football champions of the African Games Falconets tonight booked their place in the semifinal of the event after they smashed four goals past Senegal.
After winning their opening group game, the Falconets demolished Senegal to record six points from two games.
Loveth Edeh gave Nigeria the lead after 13 minutes.
The Nigerian girls increased their advantage on 50 minutes through an own goal, before they made it 3-0 courtesy of Motunrayo Victoria Ezekiel a minute later.
They still had enough time to make the result a lot more comfortable with a fourth goal in the 82nd minute by Chioma Olise.
