2024 All Africa Games: Flying Eagles Unveil Final Squad Selection

Ladan Bosso, coach of the Flying Eagles, has made his final selections, naming 20 players for the upcoming 13th All Africa Games in Ghana.

Among the chosen players are Daniel Daga, Daniel Bameyi, Nathaniel Nwosu, and Kehinde Ibrahim, all of whom showcased their talents at last year’s U20 World Cup in Argentina. Additionally, Golden Eaglets striker Charles Agada has secured his spot in the final squad.

Nigeria will kick off their campaign on Thursday against Uganda, with tough competition expected from teams like Senegal, Tunisia, and South Sudan in their group. The top two teams will advance to the semifinals, setting the stage for an intense battle for glory.

In goal, the Flying Eagles will rely on Nathaniel Nwosu, Clinton Ezekiel, and Samuel James, while the defensive lineup boasts talents like Daniel Bameyi, Ibrahim Abdullahi, Oladapo Akintola, Godwin Samson, Haruna Aliyu and Rabiu Abdullahi.. The midfield will be anchored by players such as Daniel Daga, Favour Izuogu, and Auwal Ibrahim, while the attacking front will feature Kehinde Ibrahim, Charles Agada, and Nasir Muhammed, among others.

With a strong squad in place, the Flying Eagles are poised to make their mark at the All Africa Games and showcase the depth of talent within Nigerian football.
