Inter Milan have set a $60 million transfer fee for Manchester United target, Andre Onana. De Gea’s form dipped in the latter part of the season, and the club is requesting him to accept reduced terms to stay. However Ten Hag, has not guaranteed De Gea’s status as the first-choice goalkeeper if he does sign a new contract.
Onana, who previously played under Ten Hag at Ajax, possesses strong ball-playing abilities, addressing De Gea’s weakness from previous seasons. Inter Milan are demanding a fee of approximately £43 million for the Cameroonian shot-stopper.
Despite financial constraints, this valuation is deemed acceptable for United.
De Gea has received offers from Saudi Arabia, and if he decides to depart, his final appearance after 12 years with United would be the defeat in the FA Cup final against Manchester City.
The Spanish goalkeeper joined Manchester United from Atletico Madrid in 2011 and established himself as one of the best shot-stoppers in the world over the past couple of years.
