Bayern Munich has bagged themselves a fantastic addition to their midfield, Konrad Laimer, who joins them on a free transfer from Bundesliga rivals RB Leipzig.
The 26-year-old midfielder has put pen to paper on a four-year deal with the Bavarians, saying goodbye to his impressive six-year stint at Leipzig which was capped off with a German Cup triumph just last week.
The Austrian international will now begin a new chapter with the German champions, who clinched their remarkable 11th consecutive title on the final day of the Bundesliga.
“It’s a dream come true for me. Bayern always has the highest goals – just like me. I’m in the right place here,” Laimer told Bayern’s website.
