Manchester United have held direct talks with Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi as they explore a cut-price move following Leicester City’s relegation from the Premier League.
The 28-year-old defensive midfielder could leave the Foxes for around £9 million, although United have reportedly submitted an opening bid of £5m, hoping to strike a bargain deal.
Ndidi as Casemiro’s Successor
United view Ndidi as a more dynamic replacement for veteran midfielder Casemiro, who has struggled with injuries and consistency. Ndidi’s ball-winning ability and experience in the Premier League make him an attractive option for Ruben Amorim’s squad rebuild.
