Mohamed Salah praised Arsenal as a “really good team” and shared his thoughts on becoming Liverpool’s all-time leading goal scorer in the Premier League.
Salah scored a goal during Liverpool’s 2-2 draw with Arsenal last week, and he felt that his team had dominated the Gunners during the game. The former Chelsea winger expressed his hope that the result would propel his team to positive results in upcoming matches.
He also reflected on breaking Robbie Fowler’s record as the club’s all-time leading goal scorer in the Premier League stating that it was one of the best moments of his career.
“[Arsenal] Top of the table, we played a good game against them, they are a really good team,” Salah said.
“But I think we dominated the game, especially in the second half; we were unlucky with some chances. So hopefully, that will give us a push for the next games.”
“It feels really good (breaking Fowler’s record), to be fair – one of the best moments for me in football”.
“I enjoyed it so much and I was so happy to break the record. It was a really lovely day and I was so happy about the record”.
